LIGHT from the WORD.
"MURMURED"
They ridiculed the Creator, Immanuel, God with us.
Men still do today!
Yet, He is the One from whom angels hide their faces!
The Eternal Creator Who "was made flesh and dwelt
among us!" (John 1:14)
"RECEIVETH"
He was, and is, ridiculed because He "receiveth sinners."
He receives them to forgive, cleanse, justify, regenerate.
He takes us from being sons of sin to being
"sons of God!"
PRAISE GOD!
Christ "receiveth" sinful men!
He will pardon and welcome, just as did the prodigal
son's father.
He will place upon repentant sinners His own
robe of righteousness. (See
Is. 61:10)
He seals us with the signet ring of His Holy Spirit,
preserving our souls to the eternal glory of His own.

He makes us "ambassadors" in His service to
reach out to all sinners with this wonderful offer of salvation.
