"TEND your FOREST"
Kudzu is a vine.
It grows "like wildfire," forming
dense mats that "choke out" other
plants - even trees!
It spreads vegetatively, with
creeping stems that root easily
at nodes.
Kudzu is very labor intensive
to remove.
The vine must be cut at the
base.
One must dig around the
base and remove the vine
from the taproots.

12 Wherefore, my belived, as ye
have always obeyed, not as in
my presence only, but now much
more in my absence, work out
your own salvation with fear and
trembling.

Kudzu is a plant that will grow
densely if not tended.
Your salvation is like a forest.
It must be TENDED!
If left untended, only for a
short time, it will grow things
that will "choke out" spiritual
growth!
Salvation is LABOR
INTENSIVE!
Our Scripture above states
that salvation requires WORK!
A truly saved person is
indwelled by God's Holy
Spirit.
But, the saved must DIG IN
with prayer; CUT OUT old
damaging things by learning
truth through daily Bible study.
Things like apathy, prejudice,
unforgiveness, selfishness
and worldly living can
"choke out" the REALNESS
of God's PRESENCE!
God's PRESENCE is the
POWER that can CLEAN UP
your spiritual forest!
Look at your daily life, and
SCHEDULE a time when
you can be WITH God
through prayer and
Bible study!
WORK with Him, TENDING
your salvation by allowing
Him to WORK IN you!
