THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
I remember when I was little, my mother used to play a game with me.
She would blindfold me and get me to do things in the house.
"Sweep the floor," she would say. Or, "Wash the dishes."
It's hard to do those things when you are BLIND!
When that blindfold came off, I could see the mistakes I made.
But, when that blindfold came off, it was a great joy to SEE!

The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart:

When we surrender to Jesus, the "blindfold" of sin is taken away!
We can see our sin in the way God sees it.
It is black and ugly, and caused Jesus to die on the cross!
First, seeing clearly brings distinct shame and conviction,
because we see our sin in the correct manner.
But, second, it sure "rejoiceth the heart" to know Jesus will forgive sin!!
And, it sure is a "good report" to know that Jesus accepts sinners!!
Is your blindfold OFF?
Have you seen sin through the light of Christ?
Then, "rejoice" in knowing He forgives!
And, give a "good report" to others!
Love ya!
