Concentrate on two statements in the verses
above for a few moments.
"...the JOY of the LORD is your STRENGTH!"
"A merry heart doeth GOOD like a MEDICINE!"
Christian, whatever fears you may have,
whatever disturbs your mind,
whatever hurts your heart;
remember,
Jesus loved you enough to hang on the cross
for you!
And, daily, He INCREASES His loving care for you!
Your life is engraved upon His brow, hands, side
and feet!
Your life is imbedded in His person!
Doesn't that give you JOY?
To God, you are WORTH making an atoning
sacrifice for your sin vicariously!
Now, having JOY in the Lord does several things.
*It increases the rush of adrenaline and gives
you more strength.
*It activates the hypothalamus and increases
your heart rate.
*It will cause you to be more physically active.
*It will cause you to be more mentally alert.
If you really want to be more physically active,
and to be more mentally alert, then concentrate
on "the JOY of the LORD!"
