Today's Devotion:
"The LORD of GLORY"
Most of the time, wisdom comes
from NOT overlooking what you
overlooked before.
____SCRIPTURE____
1Cor. 2:7-8
7 But we speak the wisdom of
God in a mystery, even the
hidden wisdom, which God
ordained before the world
unto our glory:
8 Which none of the princes of
this wolrd knew: for had they
known it, they would not have
crucified the Lord of glory.
KJV
____THOUGHT______
The Bible teaches us that
the "BEGINNING of wisdom
is the fear (reverence) of
the LORD." (Prov. 9:10)
Ps. 24:10 says, "Who is this
King of glory? The LORD of
hosts, he is the King of glory.
Selah."
BOTH Prov. 9:10 and
Ps. 24:10 are references to
the "LORD" -- YEHOVAH.
1Cor. 2:8 is a reference to
JESUS! (Luke 2:11)
And, THERE it is...."hidden
wisdom!"
Those two are the SAME!
BEFORE THE WORLD
it was ALWAYS God's
plan to come HIMSELF
and offer salvation!!!
But, people who claimed
wisdom CRUCIFIED God,
the CREATOR!
(John 1:1-4, Heb. 1:1-4)
And, in their minds, today,
BILLIONS of people are
still claiming wisdom while
DENYING Jesus as God!
Wisdom is NOT education!
Education is the amassing
of factual information.
Wisdom is knowing what
to DO with that information!
Let's remember:
Wisdom is NOT overlooking
what you overlooked
BEFORE!
Love ya!
