"The REVERSE INVITATION"
I remember, in high school, I was AFRAID
of American History.
It was a required subject, but the teacher
was very austere.
The first day after class, she stopped me
from leaving, for just a few seconds.
All she said was, "If you will study in this
class, you will make good grades."
She invited me to LEARN, if I would
invite her to TEACH!

Ps. 25:4-7
4 Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.
5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the
God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
6 Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy
lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
7 Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my
transgressions: according to thy mercy remember
thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD.

God invites us to LEARN.
We must REVERSE the invitation and invite
Him to TEACH.
If we allow God to teach (vs 4), He will lead us to
TRUTH (vs 5).
God brings salvation to us!
He came on the cross to give us the INVITATION!
He paid for our sins, and offers eternal life with Him!
We must "WAIT" on the Lord.
Now the Hebrew word for wait is qavah (kaw vaw').
It literally means to be entwined with, and to serve.
If you gather several long pieces of twine, and
twist them together, the result is a STRONG ROPE!
Our strength to SERVE comes from being
ENTWINED with God!
Make a REVERSE INVITATION in your life.
Invite God to teach, then become entwined with
Him by studying His Word.
The results are:
You will learn TRUTH,
You will SEE the "tender mercies" of God,
You will have PEACE.
