DAILY DEVOTIONS

Today's Devotion:
"The RIGHT To LIFE"

Dr. Mildred Jefferson became the first
black woman to graduate from Harvard
Medical School.

She became the first woman employed
as a general surgeon at Boston University
Medical Center and later became a professor
of surgery at the university's medical school.

She became president of the National Right
To Life Convention.
Speaking to that convention, she stated,
" this great land that now wants to put the
Paw Paw and a few other plants on the list
of endangered species does not recognize
that now the American baby must go on a
list of endangered species, and must be
protected every much as that plant, the
Paw Paw, or the Mediterranean mud seal,
or the whooping crane, or the bald eagle."

_______SCRIPTURE____________

Prov. 6:16-19
16 These six things the Lord hates,
Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
17 A proud look, A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood,
18 A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that are swift in running to evil,
19 A false witness who speaks lies,
And one who sows discord among brethren.
NKJV

_______THOUGHT______________

There is incontrovertible proof that life
BEGINS at CONCEPTION.

When life BEGINS, and one destroys it
before that life is born, it is called
"shedding INNOCENT blood!"
And the text above says that is an
ABOMINATION to God!

EVERY life has INHERENT value!

An unborn baby (John the Baptist) was
the first to recognize Christ as the
incarnate God! (Lk 1:44)

And, God knows every child before
he/she is born!
"Before I shaped you in the womb, I
knew all about you."
(Jer. 1:5)

"I have often said we need to join in prayer
to bring protection to the unborn. Prayer
and action are needed to uphold the sanctity
of human life."
(Ronald Reagan)

"The fight for the right to life is not the cause
of a special few, but the cause of every man,
woman and child who cares not only about his
or her own family, but the whole family of man."
(Dr. Mildred Jefferson)

If we continue to destroy the unborn, we are
destroying the future of our nation; for those
who COULD be, weren't ALLOWED to be!

Love ya!
