One winter morning I came home from work
(as a deputy) about 5:30am.
The house was dark, but I didn't want to wake
my wife.
So I began the familiar walk across the living
room floor.
Then I banged into a coffee table!
My wife had rearranged the furniture!
The yell escaped my lips before I realized it.
Then, the bedroom door opened, and Ann said,
"Why don't you just turn on the light?"
Too often Christians walk in the dark rather
than turning on the light!
You see, the WORD of God is a LIGHT to
make our path of life clearer!
Rather than learning the principles for facing
a world in the darkness of sin, some would
rather leave the Bible gathering dust in a corner!
Start your day with the WORD of God!
STUDY it!
LEARN it!
Make DECISIONS with it!
God's Word provides LIGHT for our spiritual
journey during this life.
