"UNDER HIS WINGS"
When I was a boy, we lived with Grandma and
Grandpa in the country.
I remember Grandma's chicken yard.
When a storm would come up, you could see
the hens clucking to their bitties.
The baby chicks would run up to their mother,
and the mother would spread her wings and
cover them.

Ps 91:4-6
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of
the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and
under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall
be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night;
nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness;
nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

Perhaps Jesus was referring to the Scripture above
when He made His triumphal march into Jerusalem
the week before He was crucified.
He said, "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the
prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee,
how often would I have gathered thy children together,
even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings,
and ye would not!" (Matthew 23:37)
There are many Christians today that would not
because of fear!
Usually, fear is hidden behind cloudy statements like
"let's be sure this is best for ALL," and "let's make sure
we calculate all the risks."
Don't let those kinds of statements deter you from
doing what's right for God!
When we live in obedience to our Lord, He speaks to
us and calls us under His PROTECTION!!
If we are doing something for our Lord, then HE'LL
take care of the risks!
And He'll also give us the wisdom to do
what's best for ALL.
He will protect us from the "fowler" -- the devil.
He will plant in our hearts a spirit of "love and power"
and not of "fear."
He gives us realization that death is not the end, it
is a door to the fullness of His Presence and joy!
Come under "the wings" of Christ today, and remain
under His PROTECTION!
