LIGHT from the WORD.
The church gossip (an old maid) kept being nosy about other
people’s business.
Several members were unappreciative of those activities, but feared
enough to maintain their silence.
A mistake was made, however, when the gossip accused George,
a new member, of being an alcoholic after his pickup truck was seen
parked in front of the town’s only bar one afternoon.
She commented to George and others that everyone seeing
his truck there would know what he was doing.
George, a man of few words, stared at her for a moment and just
walked away. He didn’t explain, defend or deny; he said nothing.
Later that evening, George quietly parked his pickup in front of
the old maid's house and left it there
… all night!

Prov 26:20
Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out:
so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth.
KJV
Prov 25:23
The north wind driveth away rain:
so doth an angry countenance a backbiting tongue.
KJV
If you don't KNOW it as FACT,
don't LISTEN to it, and especially
don't REPEAT it!
Love ya!
