Today's Devotion:
"Use God's WORD For DECISONS"

The Word of God must be placed in the
"heart" of man in order for us to follow it.

The mind is the place of collection and
storage.
But the heart is the seat of affections and
determination.

It is there that we make our decisions.

Ps. 119:11
Thy Word have I hid in my heart, that I might
not sin against thee.
KJV

_______THOUGHT______________

We are young only once, but we can be
immature indefinitely.

When we become stagnant in learning and
growing for the Lord, then we become
stagnant in DOING for the Lord.

The WORD of God is not really LEARNED
unless it is APPLIED!

When we MEMORIZE Scripture, and
repeat it over and over, then we LEARN.

When we learn the Word, it is not only in the
storage place of the mind, but it is in the
HEART where we make decisions.

This is how we let God teach us "in the
way of wisdom." (Prov. 4:11)

Let us be encouraged to LEARN more
of God's Word, and APPLY it in our
lives.
