"WALK in CHRIST!"
HI!
I remember taking Dad to the VA
Hospital in Shreveport.
On the way home, we stopped at a
restaurant.
The Maitre D welcomed us, picked
up menus, and said,
"Walk this way."
Dad started imitating her walk!
I was glad we were behind her.

Col 2:6-7
6 As ye have therefore received Christ
Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished
in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding
therein with thanksgiving.

_______THOUGHT______________
The Greek word from which "walk ye" is
translated is peripateo (per ee pat eh' o).
It means to LIVE AS.
If indeed, one has received Christ, he/she
should EXHIBIT that in his/her every day life.
WALKING means ACTION.
Our choice of words, and the things we do
REFLECT who we ARE.
Rom 6:4 says,
"Therefore we are buried with him by baptism
into death: that like as Christ was raised up
from the dead by the glory of the Father, even
so we also should walk in newness of life.
Walking in Christ means CONTINUING DAILY.
Christianity is not a Sunday religion!
It is a DAILY effort to please our Lord and
imitate Him.
"And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in
the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God
and the Father by him." (Col 3:17)
Walking in Christ means PROGRESSION.
We are "Born To Grow In Jesus"!

Having received Christ, we also receive the
impetus to GROW!
"For it is God which worketh IN YOU both to will
and to do of HIS good pleasure." (Ppns. 2:13)
As we learn more of Christ from the Bible, we are
CHANGED day-by-day!
2 Cor 3:18 says,
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass
the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same
image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of
the Lord."
So Christian, today and EVERY day
WALK in CHRIST!
