James & Jean had just moved
to a new town.
They had twins.
When they went to church,
James noticed the sign
above the nursery door:
"They shall not all sleep,
but they shall all be
changed."

1Cor. 15:51-52
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery;
We shall not all sleep, but we
shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling
of an eye, at the last trump: for
the trumpet shall sound, and the
dead shall be raised incorruptible,
and we shall be changed.

____THOUGHT______
1Corinthians was written to
a very dysfunctional church!
The members there were
"worldly" and "carnal."
As a whole, the church
exhibited a sincere failure
in loving Christ, and each
other.
There were gossips, malice,
misuse of spiritual gifts,
denial of the resurrection,
sexual immorality and
abuse of the Lord's Supper.
But, note in the two verses
above, the Scripture uses
the word "WE" three
different times!
My friend, if you are looking
for a PERFECT church,
STOP!!!
Christians are ALL
IMPERFECT people whom
God will one day raise to
be INCORRUPTIBLE!
Our membership in the
church is NOT determined
by the lives of others!
It is determined by our LOVE
for Christ!!
And, if we truly love HIM, we
will love ONE ANOTHER -
warts and all!
