WATCH what you EAT!
HI!
In March of this year, Ann was
experiencing terrible itching, which
also made her very weak.
So, I guess you know who had to
do all the cooking.
As a result, we had lots of the WRONG
things too eat, and lots of the wrong
snacks.
I was feeling physically badly one day
and went to have a blood test.
Three days later, my doctor called, and
told me I was severely diabetic.
What we eat affects our body.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God,
a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth.

Within two weeks of the episode with
diabetes, my blood sugar was down to
normal.
Changing the things I eat has helped me
to lose weight also.
Spiritual life is like that example.
We need to be careful what and how we
consume information.
1Peter 2:2 says, As newborn babes,
desire the sincere milk of the Word, that
ye may grow thereby:
When we are committed to Jesus as
Lord of our lives, we are born again
spiritually.
We need to FEED on God's Word.
Paul, when writing to Timothy, said more
about that in 2Tim. 2:15 above.
STUDY!
Don't just READ to CONSUME.
STUDY!
As spiritual beings, we GROW.
And, we need the proper nourishment
for that growth.
That nourishment is the WORD of God!
Let Bible study become a daily habit just
as eating is a daily habit.
Then, as Peter also said, we will
...grow in grace, and in the knowledge
of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ...
(2Pet. 3:18)
