Sometimes pastors use what I call tortured alliterations
to grasp the attention of the listeners.
For instance, concerning
1Pet. 1:3-4, here is a short
sermon outline.
Our inheritance is:
Galvanized (imperishable)
Germ-proofed (undefiled)
Grecian-Formulated (unfading)
and
Guaranteed (reserved in heaven).

12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek:
for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall
be saved.

LIGHT from the WORD.
Notice that Peter says the Lord is "rich unto ALL
that call upon Him!"
Therefore, ALL that would have assurance of eternal life
MUST call upon Jesus Christ!!
There is NO OTHER way!! (See
John 14:6,
Acts 4:12)
AND, "WHOSOEVER shall call upon the name of the LORD
(Jesus) SHALL BE SAVED!!"
PRAISE GOD!!
What MERCY!
What GRACE!
What LOVE!
That God would accept WHOSOEVER and give them
ETERNAL LIFE!!
