Today's Devotion:
"WHERE Is YOUR PEACE"

Clyde was ill and could not seem to shake it.

When the doctor came into the little room to see
Clyde,he was amazed at how brown-skinned he was.

Doctor: Clyde why are you so brown?
Clyde: Well, my wife and I have an agreement.
When we argue, one of us goes for a long walk.
Doctor: But your wife is quite pale, and you
so brown!
Clyde: I have found that when I am the one that
takes a walk, we have peace.

________SCRIPTURE____________

Phil 4:6-7
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by
prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your
requests be known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all
understanding shall keep your hearts and minds
through Christ Jesus.

_______THOUGHT______________

When facing difficult circumstances, most people
try to find peace WITHIN themselves.
Yet true peace cannot be found in self, for
self cannot control all circumstances.

True peace comes from having the peace of God
IN ourselves.

True peace is beyond our comprehension, yet it
is there when we KNOW Christ!
For true peace comes with the realization
that God is in CONTROL.
And, true peace will KEEP our hearts and
minds THROUGH Christ Jesus.

True peace cannot be found in circumstances,
but is found in having a genuine RELATIONSHIP
with Jesus Christ.

True peace is not found by searching,"
it is found by praying!

When life gets you down, that is the
perfect position in which to surrender to
Jesus!
THAT is when we find the peace of God!
