For the Christian, there is “consolation” in every trial.
It is in the depths of our difficulties that we find the freshness of our Lord’s presence.
It is in the darkness of our life that His light shines brightest.
When our ship of life is tossed by storms around us,
we can be assured our Lord is coming across the waters.
He will captain our ship safely to the Golden Shore!
When life takes us into the “depths,” we fall to our knees.
THAT is where “consolation ... aboundeth by Christ!”
You can’t take a picture of a man with a wooden leg.
You need a camera for that!
My Christian friend, you cannot live life without troubles.
You need daily prayer for that!
